It is only 40 minutes away from our farm and is on a 40 hectare private farm owned by the founders of the sanctuary, Nicola Vernon and Rohan Millson. It was established in 2014 and is a registered Non-Profit. It is home to 91 pigs, 32 sheep, four goats, two geese, two chickens and a duck as well as eleven dogs and seven cats – all rescued and cared for with more being added every week – please support them 🙂

Just 2 kms from De Rust Farm Cottage is the Alwyn Vintcent Farmstall/ Padstal and Restaurant/ Takeaways.
In the first building on the left as you enter Villiersdorp from the Grabouw/ Caledon side, you will find pastries, pizzas, roasts and more along with wine and beer tasting in the new bar area inside.
They also have a kiosk for the club which serves an array of ice cold options for kids and bigs alike.
