We had a beautiful walk to the dam. Our labrador enjoyed the farm life and appreciated the doggy treats! Very easy check in process.

The cottage next door shares the fence, making it very intimate if both are occupied. This is essentially a holiday for your dog, the dam is a short walk away, over the main road, but is a real paradise for furballs.

Relaxing at the dam is a must.
On the main road, however traffic noise isn’t a major issue.

Having read previous reviews we were expecting the road to be really busy, but honestly it wasn't even an issue - in fact we enjoyed seeing the car and bike runs come past on the Sunday morning! We also had a slight concern before arriving about safety with the road being close by, but Jon-Jon has taken all precautions, and there's trees along the road that make it difficult for anyone to see into the private cottage areas.
Definitely recommend - we didn't want to leave!

The private garden with a great braai area with ample wood provided was a real treat. Our dogs really enjoyed the stay too and it helped that Jon-Jon’s dogs were super friendly and welcoming to them.
